During these past few days, our employees have been focused upon our goal of meeting our deadline for releasing BLS-2006. We thank them for their dedication, hard work and focus in reaching our goal.
However, while we are processing a record number of orders, we can't ignore the catastrophic disaster left by Hurricane Katrina.
We cannot turn our heads to those who have been impacted by this national tragedy; therefore, CDE and its employees pledge $1 for each BLS-2006 sold. Today, more than $5,000 will be donated to the American Red Cross for the hurricane disaster relief fund. As more orders continue to come in, we will increase our donations to the American Red Cross.
As you begin your leagues, I urge you to suggest your league participate in helping out. Perhaps those running brackets in league play can donate one night's winning to the victims through the American Red Cross. www.redcross.org (http://www.redcross.org)
Bowling is America's most favorite participation sport. It allows people of all ages, color and background to come together and enjoy sportsmanship, camaraderie and friendship. Now, more than ever, it's important for bowlers to stand united behind our fellow Americans who are suffering a horrific disaster.
